Nice beer garden, delicious food! Make a reservation on Sundays and public holidays!

Were at the Glücksmühle this afternoon. Have ordered currywurst and cheese spaetzle. Drinks came immediately. We had to wait over an hour for the meal. (Restaurant was almost empty). The first time we asked after 3/4 hour and then again after 1/4 hour. Then we got our food. Currywurst went like that, but the Käsepätzle were totally cold. Were then reheated in the microwave. Spaetzle were totally watery, no trace of cheese. The existing Corona guidelines are not being implemented. Didn't get anything to fill out. Tables too narrow inside. As a local I have to be ashamed of such a place !! Can only advise everyone to go in there. We weren't the only ones complaining, by the way. The one star that I had to give is completely exaggerated. As a host you cannot survive in difficult times like this.

Potato salad looked more like mashed potatoes, and tasted more yeasty, as if it wasn't fresh anymore, maybe I just got the wrong day. French fries are delicious, there are sauces, and the service was nice. In terms of price, it is quite cheap for 2 people. Toilets are well, electric hand dryers are out of date, the fittings are rusty. The economy is not my thing, I probably won't visit it anymore.

Unfortunately, we didn't even get around to eating there because we were received extremely rude. Instead of informing us in a friendly tone that we have overlooked the sign to wait and to be seated, we were completely taken by surprise by the waiter with his aggressiveness and rudeness. He had "watched" us when we came in and waited until we had already sat down to bully us loudly. After we were quasi thrown out because I pointed out his unfriendliness to him, he had to show us to the waiting guests when we went out and again shamelessly call us afterwards that it would be done properly. I don't even know such manners at the main train station.

Wonderful beer garden right on the stream. Very good food, delicious beer, very attentive and friendly service and a very nice boss. We would love to come back.

A real moment of happiness for us to have visited the "Glücksmühle". Freshly prepared and high quality dishes. Everything selfmade. Prices super fair !!! Almost too cheap for the quality ... Nice cozy beer garden. Invites you to linger ... The whole thing has character and is wonderful in its own way. Made with passion and heart and soul. Keep it up ... we'll be back. More often than not! 👍👍👍 cheers.

Today finally a visit to the Glücksmühle and was immediately pleased with the great beer garden right on the water with old trees. Very cozy. We were welcomed in a friendly manner and immediately felt comfortable. The boss came straight to the table and explained his dishes and made recommendations. The menu is clear and can be easily read from the table on the wall of the shed, as is the drinks menu. Supplemented by a day pass. I think it's great. Vegetarians will also find something on the menu. All dishes were delicious and the vegetarians were also very satisfied. We got into conversation with the boss. We ate well, a very entertaining evening thanks also to the super friendly boss. It is now on my favorites list and we will appear here more often. Great enrichment for the gastronomy around Hersbruck.

Quaint gastro bar with beer garden is being permanently restored. The dishes are partly innovative and mostly delicious. The service is mostly new, but the boss closes the gaps himself when there is a large crowd. Unfortunately the plumbing is still scary ... Well-intentioned 4 stars

Very nice beer garden with two large linden trees. Very nice owner. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The dishes are consistently very good. There is also live music from time to time. The Riesling is from the Moselle with very good quality, even Demeter certified. There is also French red wine and rosé. Various cakes are also available on Sunday afternoons. I always enjoy being there.

Super nice beer garden, small menu, but everything from vegan to vegetarian. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, I would say that even the fries were homemade. Nice service and great prices, we felt very comfortable in the mill. We'd love to come back for the next hike or opportunity.

Finally a place where vegetarian dishes are offered and then super delicious! Everything fresh and homemade. Really high praise to the cook, the cook. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Courts well explained and patient. That was definitely not the last visit.

Nice beer garden right on the river. Sandpit and toys for children. Food is very good. French fries and potato salad are homemade, which unfortunately cannot be taken for granted. Vegetarians are also considered. Price / performance absolutely okay. Service could be a bit more attentive, even if it was busy.

Nice ambience, currywurst and beer okay. Only the service left a lot to be desired, dumpling with sauce was sent back, answer from the waiter, so today there was no complaint about it, you were unlucky and got the wrong one .. Corona time and the extra work involved with disinfecting tables and taking orders was probably too much for the waiter. Which is understandable, nevertheless one would have had to take the dumpling back and not have the guest paid for it. Therefore I found the general evaluation of the restaurant slightly overrated.

Biergarten on little river under a tree, sounds idyllic? It is.
